The Challenge! - Ages 50+

A friendly competition for players at Paddle Up Pickleball Club:

4 Courts. 16 players.

Participating players receive “Club Points” towards the Club’s annual championship. Match scores will be reported to DUPR for skill rating purposes, but players involved in the event DO NOT have to have a DUPR account in order to play.

Players play one game paired with each player on their court, and then, for two remaining rounds, courts are broken up by skill level based on the results of the previous round.

Players play 9 games total. Players participating in The Challenge are 3.5+ rated players. The competitions lasts around 2.5 hours. The remaining time of the 3 hour session can be used for more games until 12pm.

After Round 1, players report to the court # associated with their ranking. After Round 2, the top two ranked players in the group move up a court towards court 1, and the bottom two players move down a court towards court 4 (Court 1’s top two players stay on Court 1, and Court 4’s bottom two players stay on court 4). After Round 3, your ranking on each court determines the final standings order of the event.
